About Me
Sadija A. Smiley, MBA
Author | CEO | Mompreneur
Sadija A. Smiley, a certified grief recovery specialist, is the founder and CEO of Stillborn And Infant Loss Support (SAILS). SAILS’ mission is to ignite hope and healing in those impacted by pregnancy or infant loss through a platform of community, advocacy and relevant resources.
Born and raised in West Philadelphia, Sadija's life has been one of tribulations, and of strength. Having experienced trauma and divorce, depression and anxiety, and even suicidal attempts, she has had to stand up strong and conquer, finding solace and strength in connecting with God and his word.
She is the mother of Ivyanna Salene--born sleeping--and two rainbow babies, Kamryn Joi and Kennedy Cynene.
Although her life has had its dark times, there has also been so much light, especially found through God. She hopes to spread this light to others and be a source of inspiration to many people suffering from trauma, depression, anxiety and living in situations where they get the misconception that death is the only way out.
Through journaling and connecting with God, she finds peace and passionately shows others that they can, too. She has spent the last two decades helping to improve the quality of life for others, for it brings her joy seeing the smiles on the faces of others, as their hearts heal.
